About this site.
My Severe Weather Outlook is an independent site that makes NOAA Storm Prediction Center outlooks easier to explore by date, state, and city.
Current outlooks are checked automatically throughout the day. Each published edition keeps its original forecast dates and issuance information; an outlook is a forecast, not a real-time warning.
City answers describe a representative point. State answers describe risk somewhere within the state, and the national answer is the highest risk in the contiguous United States.
Archive pages show forecasts issued on the date in their archive banner. Use “View current outlook” to leave the archive and return to the latest edition for the same place.
Read the official SPC outlooks ↗ or visit the National Weather Service for local forecasts and warnings ↗.
Privacy and site services
City and ZIP searches are matched on your device. Using your location asks your browser for a position; this site does not send or save those coordinates. Your browser or operating system may use its own location provider.
On the main site, Rybbit counts visits to pages without receiving search text, URL queries, referrers or saved user identifiers from this site. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Google AdSense supplies advertising and may use its own cookies and data collection; see Google’s explanation of partner-site data use ↗.
Sentry helps diagnose site errors. Our reports omit search text, coordinates, cookies and user profiles. Session recording and performance tracing are disabled.
